How the World Will Explain the Rapture

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed--in a

flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound,

the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52

I used to wonder what people who were left behind at the rapture were going to think about all the people who just disappeared. I read the Left Behind books and saw the movies years ago, and some of the images have stuck in my mind. In book one, when the rapture took place, everyone in the story initially was shocked and had no answers. It was utter chaos. I'm sure it will be very chaotic, but will there be an explanation that everyone will accept? Is the stage being set already? Between Big Tech, the world conditioning us to believe that aliens are real, and the global elites pushing climate change and sustainable development, I say yes, the stage is being set. Do I know this is how the world will explain the rapture? No, these are just my thoughts.

I was introduced to the idea of aliens being demons a couple of years ago, and I recently heard Brandon Holthaus, pastor of Rock Harbor Church, give his view for how the world will explain the Rapture, in his May 3, 2020 prophecy update. I have based my opinion primarily on these two factors and what I see happening in the world today. Pastor Brandon has done a lot of research into the New Age psychics or mediums that have made contact with various beings who have explained why a great number of people will disappear at the same time. Christians call this event the Rapture and base it on the Bible, but the demons give the mediums an alternative narrative of what will happen. Remember, demons know what the Bible says, but they want to twist and distort the truth. So they tell these mediums they are aliens or spirit beings and that many people will suddenly disappear. But they lie about who is taken, who takes them, and why these people are taken. They give an alternative narrative that seems to fit well with the direction our world is going with aliens, the state of our planet, and the division of our country. Here are just a couple of the quotes Pastor Brandon gives (for more, see his prophecy update):

The people who leave the planet during the time of Earth changes do not fit in here any longer, and they are stopping the harmony of the Earth. When the time comes that perhaps 20 million people leave the planet at one time there will be a trmendous shift in the consciousness for those remaining. [from the book by Barbara Marciniak: "Bringers of the Dawn"]

Notice the event is right--perhaps 20 million people will leave the planet at the same time (the Rapture). But the explanation is these people don't fit in here any longer and are a danger to the harmony of the Earth. That is wrong, according to the Bible. These people who disappear are born-again believers and they have been taken by Jesus to escape the wrath of God. Think of Lot and his family or Noah and his family being spared of the wrath of God when God was getting ready to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah (Lot) and the world (Noah). And guess who predicted this event first? God did and it was recorded in the Bible nearly 2000 years ago. Demons are simply twisting what the Bible says.

Many of these beings who are leaving this planet at this time have completed that which they came to do. It is a time of great rejoicing for them. Do not feel sad about their leaving. They are going home. Many are waiting to be with them again. Many beings move on, for their thought patterns are of the past. They hold on to those things that keep the Earth held back. [Kay Wheeler, "Ozmana" from her 1994 article in the New Age Journal, "The Time is Now"]

Again, notice what they get right; what truth the demons do not deny--that many beings will be leaving the planet at the same time. Other mediums or channelers refer to this event as "The Great Evacuation" or "The Great Exodus of Souls." Ozmana claims to have received this message from the "Souls of Light" from the 7th Celestial Plane of Light. What else is right? Yes, it will be a time of great rejoicing for those who are leaving and going home. But what does she get wrong? The why they are leaving. The world will be told these souls have been taken because they are interfering with unity; their "thought patterns are of the past; they hold on to those things that keep the Earth held back." Basically, the world will spin the Rapture as a good thing. They will be told it was for the good of the planet and to promote unity. Other quotes in Pastor Brandon's Prophecy Update deal in more depth with those who are left behind. He gives more details and makes more connections than I do in this blog post. I am mostly writing about the things that stood out to me.

I do not believe there are beings from other planets. The beings that the world and New Age mediums refer to as aliens or avatars or spirit beings are actually demons. Pastor Brandon brings up two interesting points: first, MIT's study on Satanic Ritual Abuse and Alien Abduction Comparisons, shows many similarities and gives you more reason to believe aliens are demons. Second, the fact that alien sightings began in 1948; the year Israel became a nation. Since demons know what the Bible says, they realize that the year Israel became a nation again was a clear sign the end was near. Demons can't tell the future; they only know what the Bible says. Demons know it's all true, and they hate the truth. Therefore, they make it their mission to twist the truth and tell as many lies as possible to get people to believe them. One other interesting fact that lends itself to thinking aliens are demons is that alien beings only attack Christianity and the Bible. They don't attack any other religion. Why not? Because only Christianity has the truth.

The Pentagon recently released the "UFO" videos filmed by Navy Pilots. You can find the story at CNNPolitics, and you can view the video below. This is only the beginning. If you watch any news, the idea of aliens has started coming up as a real possibility. Maybe most people have always thought it was a possibility but it was still an unknown. They thought people who believed and had reported seeing UFOs were conspiracy nuts. It's the stuff of Science-fiction. But as technology and scientists look more closely at this phenomenon, a new narrative will emerge. The world will be conditioned to believe these unidentified aerial phenomena, as they are now being called, are from other planets and will be how they transport all the people who disappear.

I became interested in this topic because I have people in my life who don't know Jesus. If the rapture happens in their lifetime, they will be left behind. Some know the Bible teaches the Rapture; others don't. I want them to understand the Bible has already given the explanation, and it came well before any reason the world might provide. I want to use this view as an evangelistic tool.

This explanation may all seem rather bizarre to you. But if you think about it, the world will want to have an explanation for what happened to all the people who disappeared when the Rapture takes place. I've heard a few other theories, but this one made the most sense to me because it involves demons, who are liars and want nothing more than to distort the truth of Christianity. This explanation also fits well with the direction our world is going. Let me know what you think.
