The Miracle

He is not here; He is risen!

Luke 24:6 (BSB)

My Beloved,

What are the odds from a human perspective that I would rise from the dead? And yet you believe I did. Your faith hinges on this miracle and Sunday you will celebrate My resurrection along with many other believers! It will be a glorious day, and you will rejoice in the miracle! I am asking you to apply that same faith in believing for another miracle... the return of your wayward one. Father God brings the dead back to life, and when the prodigal son returned home, the father said, "This son of mine was dead but is alive." Do you see? A prodigal who comes back to Me is a miracle!

Who raised Me from the dead? My Father did. That same power that was exerted then is available for your loved one today. Make that your focus rather than when or how or if. You know that I will not give up on them. You can't focus on what your eyes can see or what your feelings say to you at any given moment. Your eyes don't see what I see, and your feelings don't always reflect My heart. Your emotions can play tricks on you. You start to doubt My goodness or My ability because you don't see anything yet. Intercession becomes overwhelming because staying in the pain of waiting and believing is so hard.

Bring the pain to Me and let Me give you strength to persevere in prayer and the knowledge of what to ask. I have given you mighty spiritual weapons to use to fight. You can pull down strongholds of unbelief, pride, and hardness of heart. It's not your words that make it happen; it's My power at work in response to your words, obedience, and faith. False arguments can be destroyed. Proud obstacles can be torn down. Make no mistake, your weapons of warfare are mighty, but only if you use them. Just like the walls of Jericho fell when the people shouted, the walls your loved ones have erected will fall through your persistent asking and declaring. They may be torn down little by little as if by a wrecking ball repeatedly hitting the wall, but if you don't stop, the wall will eventually be demolished.

The challenge is not to give up. It requires diligence and a willingness to live with the pain and hurt. But if your heart is focused on Me, the pain will not wound you. It may sting, but you will not be overcome with grief or hopelessness. I will make you brave and strong. You will be like a tree that is planted by streams of water. You will be refreshed. The reason you are contending is for the miracle that I alone can perform. In the process, you may see many miracles in your life and those around you. You will be more in tune with My love for you and your prodigal. You will find favor with Me. You will grow and be stretched. You will find joy and peace in My presence.

As you celebrate My resurrection this Sunday, let it be a reminder that your Father in heaven is a miracle-working God who has not gone out of business.

I love you!

Your risen Lord and Savior

for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life.

and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the

same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the

dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,

Ephesians 1:19-20 (NIV)

The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they

have divine power to demolish strongholds. We tear down arguments,

and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we

take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.…

2 Corinthians 10"4-5 (BSB)

He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. Psalm 1:3 (NASB)

Unspoken: Miracle

Have you stopped reaching

No longer seeking greater things Have you forgotten You have a Father listening He tells the sun when to rise Gives the wind it's breath Swings a door wide open and Moves in the moment you least expect Don't you give up on a miracle You've got to speak to the impossible You gotta Pray till your breakthrough breaks through the ceiling Keep on believing Don't you give up Don't you give up On a miracle How many chances How many answers Pass us by You know it takes faith To step on the waves When you're terrified When you're backed in a corner And you can't wait any longer Don't you give up on a miracle You've got to speak to the impossible You gotta Pray till your breakthrough breaks through the ceiling Keep on believing Don't you give up Don't you give up On a miracle Feels like the prayers and the words you have spoken They go unnoticed Like drops in the ocean Just beyond the veil of your vision You're mountains are moving, moving on Remember the works his hands have done Where you once were and how far you've come Don't you give up on a miracle You've got to speak to the impossible You gotta Pray till your breakthrough breaks through the ceiling Keep on believing Don't you give up Don't you give up On a miracle
