Milk and Honey

If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land,

a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us.

Numbers 14:8

Just as Joshua and Caleb saw a land of milk and honey as I described it, and the other ten scouts only saw giants, I want you to see what I see. I didn't tell the Israelites I was leading them into a land of giants, I told them it was the promised land that I had sworn to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to give to them. I told them not to be afraid of the people there because their protection was gone. The giants were no threat! As long as I was with them, they would succeed.

There are things I want to give you, but you will have to see what I see so that you will believe. As long as you only see the giants that are standing in the way, you will be afraid. You will think they are bigger than Me. That's what the Israelites did. When they heard there were giants, they could no longer see anything else.

There is a freedom that comes from believing Me. There is hope and a future. The giants will not be a threat because you will know I can defeat them. I see the giants in your life. I see your loved one who doesn't notice Me yet. Do you know I see them differently than what you can see with your physical eyes? Ask Me who I see when I look at them, and I will show you. I will show you the future I have planned for them, and you will see it is good.

Stop looking at what only you can see. Start believing what I see. I see a land flowing with milk and honey. Trust that this is what I am giving you. It will not look exactly like you think it should, and it will require you trust Me each step of the way. Look to Me, and I will show you which path to take.

Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not be afraid of the people of the land,

because we will swallow them up. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us.

Numbers 14:9

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper

you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."

Jeremiah 29:11

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5-6
